This weekend, we learned that top underwater photographer, Peter Scoones, passed away. We post this video in his memory.
Top underwater cameraman Peter Scoones filmed this amazing sequence showing a veined octopus (Amphioctopus marginatus) exhibiting tool-use behaviour, by making a small home for itself out of two pieces of broken glass. The octopus was filmed in the Lembeh Straits, Sulawesi, Indonesia. [via SciencePhotoLibrary
