Scuba diving in Antigua and Barbuda; scuba diving information and reviews . . .
Although it has a well-developed tourism industry, Antigua is not particularly known for its diving environment, mainly because the diving cannot compete with the impressive coral and fringing reefs elsewhere in the Caribbean. Here's the map.
The good news is that Antigua presents a wide array of water-based activities, plus long beautiful white sand beaches, more historical sites on land than most other islands and a dry climate, so there's something to suit everyone, divers or not.

Antigua:
We recently arranged to dive with Indigo Divers when our cruise ship docked in Antigua. We took a taxi to Jolly Harbour where we met Pats at the docks with the boat. What a great day of diving. The seas were rough and the other divers cancelled but they did...

We dove with SeaWolf diving a little while back and I have nothing but the highest regard for them. Bryan Cunningham runs a top-shelf shop there! We didn't even mind making the drive across the island from Jolly Harbour (about 45 minutes each way) because we so enjoyed diving with...

I had originally only planned one dive on my holiday (I had read that the diving in Antigua wasn't that great) but we were delightfully surprised and wound up doing a 3day package - 6 dives. The staff took care of us really well - we only dive once or...

As lapsed divers of a certain age we were reassured when Bryan and Tish replied enthusiastically to our preliminary email enquiries to set up our referral package pre holiday. The cost of taxis in Antigua is prohibitive so Trish collecting us each morning from our hotel and showing us the...

Stayed at Jolly Beach Hotel and Jolly Dive was just along the beach, so they were the logical dive shop to use. Did 8 dives with them. No complaints, they were professional and the dive sites we went to were OK, but not exciting. Dived Lobster Ledge...
