Indian Ocean

The warmest ocean in the world . . . . .

The Indian OceanDream castaway islands, exquisite luxury, pristine beaches fringed with swaying palms and crysal clear waters .... welcome to the Indian Ocean.

The islands of the Indian Ocean are a varied collection, including many of the smallest territories.  Many hug the coastlines of continents; others must be sought out hundreds of miles from any other land.  But, the one thing they have in common, was being affected by the tsunami of Boxing Day 2004, ranging from remarkable waves to inundation.

The Indian Ocean offers diving for all levels, a varied underwater topography from vast underwater volcanic mountain ranges to huge granite boulders covered with soft corals and sponges.

What to see:

Manta Rays: Maldives, Lakshadweep Islands, India

Risking Your Life - Ran Out of Air  Seaman Diving Center, Mauritius 1 Star Rating Added: 14th June 2014 by Rickmarshall2004
Despite the fact that my gauge indicated 100 Bar of air remaining, I RAN OUT OF AIR. After 'buddy breathing' to get back to the surface I got back in the boat and I asked the owner how that could have happened, he dismissed it with a cocky smile and...
