Club de Buceo Marlin

5 Star Rating  from 1 reviews

El Centro de Buceo Marlin was conceived to create a new style of diving in being able to get to know the maritime area of Santa Pola and the marine reserve of the Island of Tabarca. Also, getting to understand the importance of respecting and protecting the sea from it's depths.

nice dive at Las Piedras, pro divemaster/owner

5 Star Rating

Visit Date: August 2009

I only did 1 dive with Club de Buceo Marlin.

The important thing to know : Tabarca is a protected marine reserve : you need an authorization to dive in the reserve. Unfortunately I couldn't get it on time, so we dove very close (the site's name is Las Piedras de Tabarca ) but not in the reserve. It was a nice dive, from a small boat. Equipment is good and Juan Ignacio (eventhough I barely speak spanish and he doesn't speak english) was a very profesional divemaster. I wish I can plan on time to dive in the reserve next year.

I do recommend this club, not that you have plenty of choice to dive in the area, but because the club is small, friendly and safe.
