Dive Centre name: West Coast Divers Mallorca

The beautiful hotel is built into the rocky Illetas cliff line. In summer time we are using a shuttle bus which carries the divers from their hotels to the diving centre and back. At the hotel`s harbour a boat with 200 hp is on hand, which carries up to ten divers quickly to the diving areas.

Regular Diving
Visit Date: August 2009
I regularly dive with West Coast Divers, sometimes from the shore and sometimes from their boat. I have dived in caves, on wrecks, from beaches and from the boat. Its a great centre with great people and we always have great dives, all year round. Some say it is too cold at the moment but we love to dive so we keep going - the hot showers in the centre help of course! I used to use another dive centre but I find this one is better.

Surprise diving.
Visit Date: September 2009
I went to Majorca in September last year 2009, on a very last minute arrangement and to my surprise I discovered this diving base at the hotel. I did go on a trial dive while in Turkey before and since that went well I decided to go again here. Did 2 trial dives (couldn't be bothered going through a course) right there by the hotel where the water has a depth of about 5-8 meters. What can I tell you about this base as a novice to diving ? Burgi, a young lady was my instructor and kept a good eye on me during the dive. Ingo, the other instructor who was there that day shot the pictures. It was a great experience again and it got me definitely interested to pursue this sport. I will certainly return to this hotel and dive base next Summer for a couple of days.
PS. By the time of this writing things have progressed and I went to El Gouna on the Egyptian Red Sea and did a Discover Scuba course.
