Red Mangrove Dive Center in Puerto Ayora is a full service Padi dive centre offering classes for the beginner diver to professional level courses.
All inclusive dive packages are our specialty with a unique Island Hopping program to let you see the most of Galapagos with a combination of land tours and spectacular scuba diving for all levels of experience.
Red Mangrove walks the talk with habitat preservation and responsible stewardship. Accommodations and operations adhere to and often exceed the most stringent of environmental standards.
Out of respect for the local community, Red Mangrove has helped native fishermen find alternative livelihoods through tourism by utilizing a fleet of former fishing boats for transportation and sightseeing. Other outreach projects include support of a Family Health Program initially serving families of employees on the Isabela Island, assisting with dental health programs in public schools and a care program for horses at risk in Puerto Villamil.
Come join us for a Red Mangrove Galapagos and Ecuador Adventure!

Red Mangrove Galapagos
Visit Date: February 2011
My first experience at the Red Mangrove Lodge in Santa Cruz, Galapagos was spectacular! The Suite Mayor is likely the nicest accommodation I have ever had the pleasure of staying - anywhere in the world. The itinerary and variety of tours, and the gorgeous dives were very professional, relaxed and always friendly. Escaping the snowy Boston winter and arriving at the equator is a trip I'll never forget. As a destination for 3D photography, I have returned with unforgettable, world class stereoscopic images. Thanks a million to Caleb Hayes for all the arrangements. Cheers!

Gordon Rocks
Visit Date: March 2011
Our two tank dive off the eastern coast of Santa Cruz at the Gordon Rocks site was a highlight of our Galapagos vacation as well as one of the best dives we've ever experienced, compared to past dives in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda, which were also nice but didn't compare in terms of sealife. At Gordon Rocks we saw sea lions swimming near us, sea turtles, as well as large groups of hammerhead sharks! This was our first drift dive, and the Red Mangrove guides Rafael and Milton (2 guides for 4 divers) made the experience enjoyable. Milton literally held my hand when I found it hard to keep up as we were swimming against the occasional currents, which you could feel as streams of cold water. The sealife was topnotch and very near, but I didn't feel frightened as our divemasters were very trustworthy. This was a highlight on a fabulous land-based trip through Red Mangrove.

Fabulous Galapagos
Visit Date: August 2010
I can't say enough about how wonderful Red Mangrove properties and staff are! I was in Galapagos for a week and did their Darwin Triangle package. It was the best dive trip I have ever been on in 25 years of diving! I dove with sea lions, mantas, turtles, whale sharks and hammerheads along with tons of fish and other marine life! The hotels are first rate and the food was wonderful. The hotel staff bent over backwards to make our stay a truly memorial experience!
