Pirate wrecks, pelagics everywhere, caribbean reefs and pacific excitement . . .
Central America is a very narrow isthmus of southern North America extending from Mexico to Panama. The Pacific Ocean lies to the southwest, the Caribbean Sea lies to the northeast, and the Gulf of Mexico lies to the north.
Scuba diving in Central America takes you down the Gulf of Mexico, through the Caribbean sea into the South Pacific ocean and onto the Galapagos Islands.
Costa Rica enjoys a world-renowned system of protected areas, covering nearly a quarter of its territory and offers over 1,200 km of coastline stretched along two oceans, highlights of which feature snorkelling with Humpback whales and diving with giant Manta Rays.
Try Panama for a spot of canal diving; Drake Island for pirate wrecks, crater diving in El Salvador and the Corn Islands in Nicaragua for the famous "Blowing Rock".
