Excellent scuba diving pretty much everywhere; whale watching, ice diving, amazing scenery and the chance to dive beside some awesome icebergs . . . . . but take your dry suit!
Newfoundland and Nova Scotia - the gateways to Canada's East Coast. Atlantic Canada consists of four provinces, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, and the Gaspe' region of Quebec. Between them they have over 4,500 documented shipwrecks, ice diving, whales and . . . wait for it . . . icebergs!
The West Coast of Canada is equally interesting. Humpback whales, Grey whales and Orcas are attracted by the nutrient-rich waters brought by the currents during the summer months. Vancouver (and Vancouver Island) offer a fascinating range of unique dive sites and is also the best place in the world to find the rare 6-gill shark. Never seen one? Nor had we.
