Take another boat
Visit Date: January 2011
If this is a new boat, how did it get so screwed up so fast? I don't know where to start to list the problems with this boat. Maybe the fact that you will get electrocuted if you go in the hot tub? Or maybe it was the lack of a safety briefing at the beginning of the cruise? Or the furniture in the lounge that is exceptionally uncomfortable? Maybe the fact there are no books in the library, especially none that cover the wildlife of the Galapagos? The broken tiles in the passageway? The shower surround caulked by a nine year old? One glass in the bathroom for 2 divers? Toilets that don't flush efficiently? Lack of ventilation in the 6 cabins below decks? The dive guide who turned an easy dive into a life threatening occasion?
Maybe all of those plus the uninspired food that was never served warm.
They offer $1000 discounts and 2 for 1 trips. It is better to pay a little more and take the Galapagos Sky.
