Excercise caution when considering diving with Southern Cross. The quality of the Diani Reef Beach Resort and Spa which hosts the dive center is not representative of what you find once you have booked a dive with this company.

They offer dangerously damaged, old, and faulty equipment and have demonstrated on several attempts to dive with them poor organization and planning of dives with respect to tides and other conditions.

Bring your own equipment and be prepared to go it alone.

We came to Kenya for a family safari but our best moments arrive the last week of our trip when we decide my 2 children, my wife and I to take on the Open water course.

The diving centre was so welcoming that we didn't hesitate... Very profesionnel and really good new equipemtt (even full wetsuit for my 10 year old boy... awesome).
