First time diver 2013

Doing my Open Water diving certificate with the crew from Ocean Explorers in St Maarten was a pleasure! I went along with three other friends and we all really enjoyed ourselves. The instructors were very thorough and calm, making us feel very prepared when we did our first ever dive. Also they went the extra mile to make sure we got the most out of our dives and took us to some awesome locations.
I highly recommend Ocean Explorers to all divers, especially first time divers!
Great fun, see you for a shark dive this weekend!

Fantastic Referral Dives

I wish I needed to do the referral dives all over again, they were so enjoyable! From the organized reservation process to handling the paperwork to explaining each dive, I was very well taken-care-of. All the staff were patient, friendly, and professional. The 4 dive sites each offered different conditions, coral and fish. None was very far from Simpson Bay - just short trips out from the dive shop. I can't see how any aspect of the dives could be improved, and I hope I can convince my husband we need another trip to St Maarten to dive with Ocean Explorers again.

Every dive is an amazing underwater adventure

We have enjoyed diving with Ocean Explorers for 5 summers. We started with them literally the day after we got our scuba certification. The one to one attention underwater has taught us so much about becoming better, safer, and more aware divers. Jef has taught how to locate the many "hidden" creatures underwater. It was personally thrilling this summer when I was able to find tiny shrimp, sea slugs, and blemmies by myself. We took our Advanced Open Water this summer.
Their shark dives are educational and interesting- definitely something to try at least once. Night dives are our favorite. The animals are different and there is such a sense of beauty and serenity at night. We saw more sea turtles than we could count and the bioluminescence is enchanting. My husband and I know we have been spoiled by Jef, Luciana and their crew. WE can't wait until we can return!

AN EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCE WITH OCEAN EXPLORER

My husband and I took the Open water Diver course a few days ago with Ocean Explorer ( San Maarten).
It was an amazing experience. The whole staff is really polite and patient, always willing to help every one of the customers.
The dives were great, always in different places. I highly recommend it. When we come back to San Maarten, we will not hesitate in choosing Ocean Explorer for our diving adventures!

Diving with Ocean Explorers was & still is a fantastic experience! The crew, instructors & reception is VERY professional, patient, always friendly & attentive to each student/client individually! Pre-dive Boat Briefing is explicit & clear which gives you that bit of reassurance & confidence you need if you didn't dive for a while! Each dive leaves unforgettable impact on you from the scenery of aquatic life, well helped to spot by dive masters!
All the gear that's available for rent is always in good order, well maintained & could be set up for you in advance! Which leaves you with nothing but the fun part of the diving trip! Kat :-)
