Corsair Diving

5 Star Rating  from 2 reviews

We are both PADI Staff Instructors and Melita is also a BSAC Open Water Instructor. Kevin is ex-fire service and Melita has a Mathematical Sciences Degree. We have dived in numerous countries around the world. Having both worked as Diving Instructors in Malta for the last six years, and logging over 2,000 dives each, we decided to open our own dive centre allowing us to put our own stamp and personalities on the new venture. The dive centre is fully licenced by the Malta Tourism Authority and opened in February 2008, and all equipment is brand new. We offer mostly shore diving on Malta and Gozo, and boat diving from a luzzu (traditional Maltese boat) or rib on Comino.

Stockton Divers hope to be back with Corsair soon.

5 Star Rating

Visit Date: May 2010

This was the second time members of Stockton Divers have used Corsair Diving. The centre caters for divers of all grades and experience, making sure that even the most nervous of divers are well looked after. Kevin and Melita are both hands on and very friendly. Clients are made welcome whether taking part as a solo diver or a large club group.

Guides are well versed on all the dive sites around Malta, with safety and site briefings before every dive. Boat dives can be arranged, with our group using a clean, colourful and well organised Iuzzu to dive the Comino caves.

Kevin and Melita will look after all your needs, airport connections, daily hotel pickups, places to go and not to go etc. Kevin is even quite calm and organised when members of your party "forget" things. If you have a know it all, seen it all diver (Marty Thomas) Melita will soon bring him back down to earth and remind you who is in charge, as safety is paramount. On the down side as there always is, not much water for equipment rinsining so you need to get in early, remembering though you can not treat the water supply as we do in the UK.

Well recommended

Small, friendly and professional

5 Star Rating

Visit Date: October 2010

Very friendly small centre with good facilities and kit, only did 4 dives (2 on each trip) with my 16yr old daughter, but enjoyed them and had good fun trying to get out in the swell at the Blue Grotto. Dived our first 2 wrecks - lots of fish over them. Dived with Kevin - good fun and professional. Highly recommended
