I had one day to dive at Harlyn.

I had contacted Harlyn and they had booked me in. It was very relaxed and it almost seemed as though they didn't care one way or another whether I turned up. When I got there it was a portacabin with plenty of parking space and not overly imposing. At this point the thoughts were very much what have I arrived at. Very soon it became clear that Hutch and Andy are more than meets the eye.

They have a rough exterior but I witnessed Hutch making phone calls to all and sundry to chase down a divers membership in order for him to make one dive. I also watched a very professional and relaxed team prepare and launch the boat.

Their knowledge of the area is excellent and we dropped off into fantastic vis right over the Sphene. A superb guided tour of the wreck was followed by Castle rock (Port Gavern) again well guided and enjoyable.

Look past first impresions with this dive company they are relaxed, professional and knowlegable. I will be going back as they promised there is more to dive, and they do know the area well.
