I believe Nancy is an employee of ADI. We also took lessons from this place, for my son and a couple of our other relatives and had a horrible experience. I got the feeling right away that I was being sold something by a used car salesman as soon as I stepped foot in that place. I took everyone down to The Keys around a month after the certification of 5 of my family members from ADI. Two of them had issues clearing their mask and almost drowned and another, my niece didn’t look like she learned anything from them. We basically spent an entire weekend, with the dive master we hired to show us around for the week, going over the basics of diving and developing skills they should have practiced and gained in a pool. Knowledge I thought was paid for and in the books at this point. Come to find out, they were rushed through the classes, given the answers to the tests, asked to perform the tasks to the absolute minimum.

I have taken classes, gone on many dive trips and had my gear maintained by this dive shop for the last six years and have never had a bad experience. We used their rental gear for the first year before purchasing our complete kit from them. They offered great advice and continue to help whenever we want to add a new item. They allow one to try gear in their pool for an opportunity to get an "in the water" feel before purchase. I can't say enough about how great our experience has been with ADI!

I rented a complete outfit from this shop, it seemed that everything was broken. After I got home I checked everything, one tank needed a new O-ring because it was spewing air, the BCD leaked and the regulator tasted like salt badly as if it was never washed and it also leaked. I took everything back to have it all exchanged because my dive was the next morning and I had an 8 hr drive ahead of me. The entire time I was there they kept telling me that it didn’t matter and it wasn’t as bad as I was making it out to be and that I was over reacting. I asked them to make sure they checked everything before they gave it to me. I never in a million years would have thought they would make the same mistake, but on the morning of the dive I wound up having to have the local dive shop change the O-ring on the tank they supposedly changed out. After seeing that I checked the regulator and BCD and sure enough they simply gave me back the same equipment and didn’t fix a thing. I had to re-rent everything locally. After I got back from my trip I tried to talk to the owner but he wouldn’t listen to me and the entire staff kept acting as if I was over reacting. Yeah, its only my life here, not yours.
