I have always wanted to dive in Lake Mead since a visit to the Hoover Dam 20 years ago. Returning to Las Vegas not only as a qualified diver but also with my family this year provided the opportunity. I contacted Bill through a diving related forum and after a short exchange of emails arranged a 2 tank dive morning for me, my two sons (16 and 14 and both qualified) and for my non diving wife to accompany us on the boat.

The shop is easy to find and is friendly, efficient and very well stocked for rentals and purchase (Eric and Marilyn ensured everything was just right). Our certifications were checked and we were fully kitted within one hour which was excellent on a busy schedule. We were also heading out of town after diving so the offer to leave all our kit with the boat after diving was most welcome (they also delivered to kit and tanks to the boat).

We met Bill at the boat which was easy to find and headed out for two nice and leisurely dives. Bill is calm, approachable and very knowledgeable and is a real Las Vegas legend. The dives were not particularly demanding (Spiral Staircase and Batch Plant 2). The weather was very hot and the viz was challenging due to algae, however, they ticked all the boxes for two vacation dives.

We dive regularly on holiday and found Scuba Views to be excellent in every respect and one of the best operations that we have had the pleasure of diving with. Very accommodating for customer needs, good rental gear, very reasonable rates and fully aware of the needs of junior divers in particular. The boat was very well organised for our dive and Bill even brought us some lunch which was a very kind thought.

Thanks to all at Scuba Views for a job very well done and for helping us all to have an excellent time at Lake Mead. Next time I will come in the winter to experience better viz but will definitely look up Bill and Scuba Views again.
