Commander Starn and his staff have been providing dive training to both sport and professional divers in the Washington area for over 30 years. The scuba school can provide any level of dive training from basic open water to professional certifications. Our instructors have an average of 20 years teaching people to dive which makes them some of the most experienced anywhere. Our experience and love for diving is what makes this school special.
With our experience and training, our graduates can receive certifications from any number of agencies including PADI, NAUI, TDI, and IANTD.

If I lived there still, I'd be using the shop

I received my PADI BOW here in October '98. Very very serious about the training. I've since received other certs and the most intense, serious and concerned training I received was here. Cdr. Starns has been there over 30 years and you just don't find that. Lot's of experience there! If you are in the area, check it out. They are across from 7 Corner's Center in the Willston Shopping Center. Great (real) Chinese food there too right across from them at Mark's Duck House.
Did my open water dives in the quarry in Haymarket weekend before Halloween.
