Reef Experience of a Lifetime!

5 Star Rating

Visit Date: July 2009

Our Reef Experience Dive trip was a present to our daughter, Leann, who at the age of 11 passed her PADI OW course...we couldn't think of a better 1st official dive than off the Great Barrier Reef. Our two dives were guided by two wonderful dive masters who made the whole 'experience' all the better.

There was a Marine Biologist on board to give information about the Reef and our Eco-system, a great opportunity for Leann to speak to a professional about her chosen career. All the equipment we were given was new and in obvious great condition, the BCD's also included dive computers which is a first for us.

The two Reefs we were taken too were beautiful, colourful, full of life and with more Coral and growth than I had ever imagined. It's just a shame that with global warming and man made carelessness, these reefs are suffering. With the 'Eco-warriers' aboard the Reef Experience at least there is some hope of saving the Reefs or at least prolonging their life span through care, dedication and teaching.

We will definitely return to the Great Barrier Reef and look forward to another blinding dive....thanks guys :-)

Top Notch

5 Star Rating

Visit Date: October 2009

We used the Reef Experience in February and again in October. Both times they were top notch. The staff was informed and very accomodating. They were careful and consciencious. We love the fact they seem to really care about your fun. They seemed knowledgable about the marine life and scuba diving. We were the last group to go out so I thought our dive was a bit short, but still everything was great. I am a certified scuba diver but didn't let on to them, to see how they acted and they were the best. They were very informative to those who were not certified.
