World Class Dive Operation
Visit Date: February 2013
We just returned from one of the best Holidays we have ever had. We dove 6 days with Living the Dream and it was absolutely the highlight of our diving experiences. We can’t say enough about the Caymans, every dive was better than the one before, but what really made the experience was Living the Dream. Even before getting to the island, all of the communication and planning made us feel like we knew Gary and Liz for years. We dove 13 times and had the opportunity to dive with all of the staff - Carl, Brock, Scott and Sean. Every one of the staff exemplified world class customer service mixed with professionalism and fun, this should be the blueprint of how to run a successful company. We can truly say that all of our future dive trips will be measured against Living the Dream and it will be difficult for any dive company to measure up to the staff, level of experience, equipment and their commitment to ensuring that every detail exceeds your expectations. Thanks for making us feel like part of the family, we are already planning our next trip back this year with 365 dive sites we still have much more to explore.

Among the best diver operations in the Caribbean
Visit Date: May 2012
My husband and I went diving with LTD in May of this year. Truly, Living the Dream Divers was so amazing from start to finish. Liz was easygoing answering questions on the phone before the trip. Dive prices were reasonable, no deposit required, dive equipment was in good shape, and computers complimentary. The dive boat crew was simply top notch and really made us feel at home, welcome, relaxed, and safe. Underwater, they took the time to show us all the cool stuff that popped up along the way. The boat itself is comfortable, roomy, and convenient for diving and for in between dives. The crew and Gary and Liz really seem to love their work. We also went on a night dive. It was just the two of us with a dive master, and the pre- and post-dive treatment, plus the dive itself, were absolutely highlights. We really, really enjoyed our diving with them and would chose then again in a heartbeat. As for diving Grand Cayman - it is absolutely stunning and quite unforgettable - my log book notes "best dive ever."

Great Dive Operator In Grand Cayman
Visit Date: October 2012
My wife, daughter and I just returned from two weeks of diving in Grand Cayman. We dove with Living The Dream Divers. They are the best dive operator we have used on our many visits to Grand Cayman and other Caribbean destinations. Their boat is new, roomy, and ideally configured for diving. The entire dive operation is friendly, cooperative, and responsive to any request. They carry a maximum of eight people, and even with a full load, we did not have any feeling that it was crowded. This is definitely not a “cattle boat” operation.
Gary and the crew were extremely friendly but at the same time professional. The crew took care of all the gear. Gearing up and getting in the water was very easy. There are two seats at the back of the boat on the dive platform. The diver sits on the seat and the crew brings over the tank and BC. Slip into the BC and do a giant stride into the water; easy!
Once in the water, we were treated to a number of excellent dives including the Kittiwake. The dive master always took the time to explain the dive site and the creatures we were likely to see. He was attentive while in the water but not a “mother hen”. We were able to buddy up and explore while the dive master lead us through the site. He always found interesting sea creatures for us. I feel the entire crew truly enjoyed uncovering these finds and always took the time to explain what we had seen once we reached the surface. I could sense that they were truly enthusiastic about their job.
All diving and arrangements were made with Liz. Most of my communication was via email. Liz was very responsive and always returned emails quickly. We made and number of changes to our schedule and Liz was always cooperative and strived to suit our requirements. It was a joy to work with Liz compared to some of the other operators that I have worked through.
Overall, we had a very positive experience with Living The Dream. We will be returning to Grand Cayman again next year. We would not consider another dive operation. They are highly recommended.

Don't Miss Diving With Living the Dream Divers
Visit Date: January 2011
If you can't have fun and good dives with this husband/wife team and their staff you should check to see if you still have a pulse. My wife certified with them while we were there and her instructor, Scott, was exceptional. Because I hadn't been diving in some time, I was invited to tag along on her instruction and refresh my skills. I wasn't charged for this, although I did pay the fee for the gear I rented.
For diving, you cannot beat Living the Dream Divers. We went on several boat dives and were impressed with the fun atmosphere that didn't compromise absolute attention to every detail of safety before we entered the water. The dive sites were spectacular and they are selected depending on the direction of the wind and the condition of the ocean. The goal is to give you a great diving experience and they deliver. Dives are led by a dive master who points out all the interesting stuff it could be easy to miss. We didn't go off on our own, but assume we could have if we wanted to do so.
Dives are sort of botique-style in that no more than 8 divers are ever on any boat dive. This provides lots of room to change into your gear, change out equipment, and have a really small group experience. The boat is spacious and well appointed--water and snacks are available at no additional charge between dives. AND they include a dive computer at no cost for divers who don't have one and are happy to show you how to use it.
Fees for diving with Living The Dream are very reasonable and the prices quoted are in US Dollars so you don't have to mess around with converting to Cayman currency. Another thing I appreciated was that Living The Dream does not tack on a ten to fifteen percent service charge (gratuity) like a lot of Cayman businesses. Hey... you will want to tip them anyway as they do such a great job.
I don't know when my wife and I will get back to Grand Cayman but when we do we'll be diving with Living the Dream Divers.
