Cairns Seastar Reef Cruises

5 Star Rating  from 1 reviews

For the experienced diver there are the “3 Sisters”, 3 magnificent coral heads sitting out on the edge of this reef in 18 metres of water. Recent restrictions imposed at Michaelmas Cay, now means many boats can no longer access this area and what was a very popular dive site is at present seldom used. Seastar is one of a handful that can still visit here. This is a well liked dive it offers deep water, picturesque and interesting coral formations and being on the edge the possibility of seeing large turtles, manta rays or even a reef shark close by.

Dive the Great Barrier Reef

5 Star Rating

Visit Date: June 2012

We went out with Seastar Cruises to Michaelmas Cay and Hastings Reef. On Seastar you can do up to 3 dives. All dives are guided by a Divemaster, which makes it really easy to enjoy the dive. We saw reef sharks, turtles and eagle rays. Professional dive crew, new equipment and just 35 people on board. We will be back.
