Koh Lipe, Thailand is set on the edge of the Tarutao National Marine Park, one of Asia’s oldest marine parks. Diving within Tarutao marine park is centred around Koh Lipe. Within easy reach of our dive shop on Koh Lipe are 30 islands and rocks which are surrounded by vibrant seas full of marine life. There are quite literally hundreds of reefs within easy reach of the dive shop – you won’t find anywhere else around here with so many dive sites so close. The waters around Koh Lipe are famous for their soft coral and the best soft coral gardens grow at several sites on large underwater granite pinnacles. The most famous of these dive sites is 8 Mile Rock which is where you are also most likely to see large pelagics which have come in from the deeper ocean.

So you want to learn to scuba dive! This is the course for you. The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most basic certification you can get as an independent recreational diver and it is recognized worldwide. You do not need to be extra fit to quailfy, just in regular health. The PADI Open Water Diver Course consists of 3 modules; knowledge development, confined water sessions and open sea dives. You need to complete all three in order to be certified and we conduct the 3 components weekly.
