We had only planned to stay at Gili Air for 3 days, but once we checked out Oceans 5, we decided it would a great place to get our PADI Open Water certification. The facilities are brand new, the equipment brand new, the pool for your controlled dives is the largest on the island, the trees have hammocks where you can study the materials, and there's a sand volleyball court on-site as well (the locals may be small, but they are great at vball)! Our instructor, Nathan, was the youngest of the crew, but consistently went out of his way to ensure all the students felt comfortable and understood what was going on, as well as making sure we were having fun. The entire staff was super friendly, and we were never pressured to buy anything. Gili Air is an amazing place to dive: on our first open water dive...

Fantastic private diving!

My husband and I dove with Serge and Carine for five days in august. It was a really positive experience and probably one of the best we had in French Polynesia. It was only the first day we had to dive with two other other divers. The last four days it was just us and Serge in the water and Carine on the boat.
We had a fabulous time diving with hundreds of grey reef sharks, mantas, turtles, white and black tipped reefsharks, leaffishes, barracudas, tunas, eaglerays. It was some of the very best diving we have ever had, however we have to come back to see the tiger and hammerhead sharks.
The service getting in and out of the water was also faultless. I hope we will have the chance to dive with Serge and Carine again one day:-)

I dived twice with AquaMarine at Manta Point and Nusa Penida to find those Mola-Mola's and not only was it a very professional operator (and Anne Menoret very helpful) but the dives were fantastic. Having dived with Mantas around the world Manta Point is a must for anyone who finds these experiences as memorable as I do. I was also pleasantly surprised to see how healthy the reefs were at both locations.

I have dived with Doug on about 6 or 7 occasions now and have never been dissapointed with the service he provides. Blue Turtle is a dive charter boat so does not offer any kind of tuition or guiding, like many of the dive charters in the UK he simply gets you to the location.
The boat is a hard boat that when full still has a good deal of space to move around in. The most important feature to list is that it has a lift that hoists the divers out of the sea after the dive, particularly usefull when you are in a dry suit with the required weighting and have a 15 litre steel tank on.
Doug has worked for the fishing families in the area for most of his life so has the insider knowledge of where to go to get the best opportunity to see marine life....

Friendly professional staff and a quality divin...

After diving for a couple of years in the Carribean and Egypt I decided to visit the island of Saint Martin. This shop came recommended by my brothers. The staff was very helpfull and friendly, they took their time to help me out with my equipment.
We went for a reef and wreckdive, the visibility was good and we saw some turtles, a ray and even a shark!
I'd recommend this diveshop to anybody who is looking for quality service and a well trained staff.
 Dive safe!

For a super busy dive center these guys have it down to a science, the checkin staff are fast and accurate which flows all the way to the boats and dive crew. We did two dives on the wrecks to see the Goliath Grouper and the briefing and boat crew were great.
They have two boats which are big and clean and stocked with water, soda and snacks.
Would go back in a heart beat.
Thank you Capt. Mike, Chris and Bo.

We went to Bonaire Dive and Adventure because friends of us used them 4 years ago and recommended this dive operator.
Since then this company must have gone downhill quickly!!
The equipment they rent is very old and I would consider it very unsafe.
The staff is okay, but not very helpfull. After waiting to sign up and rent equipment for three (!) hours, we still did not have our equipment, so we decided to take our business elsewhere.
Later that week I spoke to a family who actually did dive with this operator once. They also went elsewhere because their divemasters did not really care or watch were and how deep this family's young children dived.
I cannot recommend this company, much better companies can be found on the island.

One of the best dive companies I have ever dived with. All instructors were brilliant and the drivers always arrived on time. I had a truly magnificent time - made all the better for the staff at Aquamarine.

The instructors are so nice and patient. I really enjoyed the four days learning. Hope to see them again.
